Mission

Luxinnovation, the National Agency for Innovation and Research, is a key partner for anyone looking to engage in innovative activities in Luxembourg – founders, entrepreneurs and researchers as well as foreign enterprises and investors. Luxinnovation acts as facilitator for businesses that are seeking national or European funding, planning to launch innovative projects or aiming to expand their business and innovation partnerships at international level.

 

Activities

Luxinnovation supports the establishment of innovative start-ups in Luxembourg and helps existing companies – in particular SMEs – improve their performance, innovation capacities and management skills through several dedicated programmes and services offering specialised advice and expertise.

 

The Agency also provides advisory and support services toboth companies and researchers who are seeking national or European funding for their R&D and innovation projects. Clients benefit from guidance to find the most appropriate funding available and develop successful applications. Luxinnovation is the National Contact Point for Horizon 2020 and the European Space Agency as well as the National Project Coordinator for EUREKA.

 

In addition, Luxinnovation coordinates the Luxembourg Cluster Initiative that comprises technology-driven clusters bringing together key national players from the Automotive Components, BioHealth, EcoInnovation, ICT, Materials and Production Technologies and Space sectors. The Clusters foster exchange between their members and stimulate joint collaborative and innovative projects. Luxinnovation’s sector experts also welcome foreign companies wishing to set up innovative ventures in Luxembourg.
