Mission:

Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA) is a national innovation agency founded in 2010 by the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Science and Education. MITA is the main governmental institution responsible for implementation of innovation policy in Lithuania.

14MEUR in 2015.

 

Activities

MITA provides services for clients from business, science and public sectors that are interested in opportunities to get financial support for research and innovation project and develop strong cooperation with international partners.

 

Main activities of MITA:

• coordination of international R&D&I programs (HORIZON 2020, EUREKA, EUROSTARS);
• administration of national schemes and initiatives (Innovation Vouchers, Protection of Industrial Property Rights, Commercialization of R&D Results);
• promotion of technological ventures (projects Technostart, Inoveks, Clusterization, etc.).
