Workshop on "Entrepreneurship in the Research Context"

On 16th November 2010 the TAFTIE-Academy, in cooperation with TEKES, hold a workshop in Helsinki. The participants were informed about a benchmarking study carried out in US and about the TEKES reform plans.
 

Workshop "Insights into the Innovation Process"

On 10^th November 2010 workshop on "Insights into the Innovation Process" took place in Copenhagen. The participants worked on the question: "Why do some inventions become economically successful and earn profits while others don’t?"

 

Basic Course on "International Collaboration"

On 9^th and 10^th September 2010 a Basic Course on International Collaboration took place in Brussels.

The participants became familiar to the background and content of the current EC policy in research and learned practical implementation and support structures.

 

Basic Course on "Innovation Policies"

On 10^th and 11^th June 2010 a Basic Course on Innovation Policies took place in The Hague.

The participants became familiar to the basics of innovation policies in an international context and learned the key agency’s processes.

 

Workshop on " Public Procurement of Innovation/ As a way to practice Demand Based Innovation Policy"

On 25th May the TAFTIE-Academy Workshop on "Public Procurement of Innovation/ As a way to practice Demand Based Innovation Policy" took place in Vienna at FFG.

Guest speakers were Jakob Edler from the Manchester Institute of Innovation research and Hanneke Bodewes from NL-Agency.

 

RTDI programme management training, including "Smart Agency-Concept"

From 15th to 19th March 2010 we held our first RTDI programme management training for junior programme managers in Vienna. Thirteen participants from nine different agencies received an overview on all issues around “smart agencies” and RTDI programme management and exchanged experience with trainers and other participants in an international environment.
